2 CF-Hotel (Carbon Footprint Hotel)

Is a platform developed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) as a tool for hotel and accommodation operators to assess the greenhouse gas emissions or "carbon footprint" of their establishments conveniently and accurately. The goal is to promote sustainable tourism and reduce environmental impact. The CF-Hotel platform is designed to be easy to use. Operators can enter data on energy consumption, waste management, and water use of the hotel so that the system can calculate the amount of greenhouse gas emissions in clear numbers. In addition, CF-Hotel provides recommendations and guidelines for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, such as the use of renewable energy, efficient waste management, and economical use of water, which will help operators to improve their hotel operations to be even more environmentally friendly.
